"My name is Paulami Chakraborty. I come from India, where I completed my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Chemistry. I then pursued my PhD in Bioinorganic Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. During my PhD, I studied multiheme systems and the synthesis of diiron and diheme systems, particularly their structure–function relationships, spin-state switching, and magnetic interactions. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Institut des Sciences Moléculaires de Marseille (iSm2), Aix-Marseille University and CNRS, in the BiosCience group under the supervision of Dr. Thierry tron. My current research focuses on artificial photosynthesis and the development of hybrid systems combining synthetic metalloporphyrin catalysts, photosensitizers, and fungal laccases for oxygen atom transfer reactions.
