Biodiversity Analysis and Valorization Platform – iSm2

The AVB platform is one of the technological platforms labeled by AMU. The platform proposes the liquid culture of microbial strains (prokaryotes, yeasts, filamentous fungi) for the production of biomass, proteins or secondary metabolites. The fermentation part of the platform is an L2 laboratory. The platform also offers the possibility to purify the proteins produced.

Fermenters: 3 x 5 liters Applikon Biotechnology ez-Control and 15 liters SARTORIUS BIOSTAT C. CellD continuous cell disintegrator, centrifuges, PSM type II, incubators, microscope, autoclave 130L. GE AKTA Prime. Nanodrop 2000c. LightCycler 480 Roche.

Opening

The service is open to the constituent units of the iSm2 and the IMBE as well as to other public and private partners.
