Focus on a training course: “Scientific oral communication“

The workshop will be held from 1 to 3 June 2022. Led by Yann Vacher and Tom Kendall, this training course will enable students to identify the challenges of scientific oral communication and to learn and design the principles and techniques of oral communication. Alternating role-playing and theorizing, the workshop concludes with a recorded oral presentation in English.

Find here the presentation of the workshop by Yann Vacher as well as the testimony of Yassine Cherrack who is a former student who participated in the training and who is currently doing a post-doctorate at ETH Zurich in the laboratory of Prof. Wolf-Dietrich Hardt.

Opening of the Plinius Cursus courses to non-tenured members of the IM2B

The training courses are now accessible to post-doctoral fellows and non-tenured researchers, technicians and engineers of the Institute. Please inform those in your labs of this opportunity. All they have to do is write to Agnès Duclot who will put them on the mailing list and on the website. They will then be able to be informed of the events of the PhD program and to register and participate in the training courses.

Zoom sur une formation : « Scientific oral communication »

L’atelier se tiendra du 1 au 3 juin 2022. Animée par Yann Vacher et Tom Kendall, cette formation vous permet aux étudiants d’identifier les enjeux de la communication scientifique orale et de connaître et concevoir les principes et techniques de la communication orale. Alternant jeux de rôle et théorisation, l’atelier se conclut par une présentation orale enregistrée en anglais.

Les formations sont désormais accessibles aux post-doctorants et aux chercheurs, techniciens et ingénieurs non titulaires de l’institut. Informez ceux de vos labos de cette opportunité. Il leur suffit d’écrire à Agnès Duclot qui les inscrira sur la liste de diffusion ainsi que sur le site internet. Ils pourront ainsi être au courant des évènements du PhD program et s’inscrire et participer aux formations.
