Lipidomics I: Lipids analysis by Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC)

The student will learn how to extract lipids from biological samples (organisms, proteins or culture medium) and analyze them by TLC.
At the end of the workshop, the student will be able to extract lipids from any sample, and do the TLC analysis (drop samples onto TLC plate, choose the more appropriate organic solvent to have the best separation and perform the lipid identification).
