"My name is Menglin Phan. I come from Cambodia where I completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy before pursuing a Master’s degree in Development of Drugs and Health Products at Paris-Saclay University. I am currently a PhD student in ED 658 (Sciences du Vivant), working under the joint supervision of Aurélie Tchoghandjian (INP) and Olga Iranzo (iSm2).

My thesis focuses on unraveling the role of ML-IAP in tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) expressing ML-IAP in glioblastoma, with the objective of elucidating its contribution to tumor progression and immune modulation. To address this, I generate innovative bioconjugated molecules to selectively target ML-IAP-expressing TAMs and probe their biological function. Positioned at the intersection of chemistry and biology, it combines the complementary expertise of the Biosciences and INP teams."
