"Je m’appelle Karima. Je suis post-doctorante au sein de l’unité de recherche UMR1163 BBF, où j’ai également effectué mon doctorat. Durant ma thèse, je me suis intéressée à la dégradation des antibiotiques par des enzymes fongiques.
Actuellement, mes travaux de post-doctorat portent sur l’extraction et la valorisation des acides phénoliques issus de coproduits industriels, qu’ils proviennent des industries alimentaires, de la bioraffinerie ou de la papeterie.
Mes activités de recherche s’inscrivent à l’interface de la microbiologie, de l’enzymologie, de la biochimie et de la biologie moléculaire.

My name is Karima. I am a postdoctoral researcher at the UMR1163 BBF research unit, where I also completed my PhD. During my doctoral studies, I worked on the degradation of antibiotics by fungal enzymes.
Currently, my postdoctoral research focuses on the extraction and valorisation of phenolic acids from industrial by-products, including those from the food industry, biorefinery, and paper industry.
My work lies at the interface of microbiology, enzymology, biochemistry, and molecular biology."
