Irene del Rey Navalón

My name is Irene del Rey. I am coming from Murcia (Spain) where I graduated in Biochemistry. After that I specialized in Microbiology during my Master in the University of Granada (Spain). I came back to the University of Murcia to pursue my PhD, focusing on the oxidative and photooxidative stress response in the soil bacterium Myxococcus xanthus under the supervision of Dr. Elías-Arnanz. I recently came to Marseille to study secretion systems in the bacterium Flavobacterium johnsoniae in the team of Eric Cascales at LISM.
