My name is Giulia Panzironi, and I come from Rome (Italy) where I did my studies by obtaining a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering at Sapienza university. Then I went on to obtain the master's degree in Chemical Engineering and Sustainable Processes at the Polytechnic of Turin. During this period, I had the opportunity to do an internship in the M2P2 laboratory (Laboratoire Mécanique, Modélisation et Procédés Propres, Aix en Provence) where I am currently doing a thesis in collaboration with the BBF laboratory (Biodiversity and Biotechnology of Fungi, Marseille). The objective of my thesis is the biodegradation of pollutants (antibiotics) by enzymes for the development of wastewater treatment bioreactors.
