The IMM’s genomics platform is a structure that offers a range of services around genomics and transcriptomics for microbiology. Since its creation, this platform has constantly increased its expertise in genomics, developing and adapting protocols in order to be able to offer a range of services for a wide range of microorganisms (Gram+/- pathogenic bacteria, marine and soil environments, etc.). Availability of an environment enabling DNA banks to be set up for sequencing. – Genome sequencing (DNA-seq), transcriptome study (RNA-seq) and genome-wide DNA/protein interaction study (Chip-seq). In addition to the services, the plateform provides automated nucleic acid preparations, Quantification and quality control of nucleic acids, Reverse transcription of RNAs into cDNA, Studies of gene expression and quantification of chromosomes by quantitative PCR.
Sequencing: MiSeq illumina, Automated nucleic acid extraction system: Maxwell Promega, Quality control: Nanodrop, QuBit, TapeStation and quantitative PCR – CFX96 biorad.
The service is open to the constituent units of the IMM and other laboratories in the region, as well as to Biotech companies.
