Protein Production and Biomolecular Interaction Platform

This platform was created in January 2005 and provides a full range of services from expression to purification of recombinant proteins, biomolecular interactions and biophysical characterization for both in-house and external laboratories. We propose to express and purify recombinant proteins of prokaryotic, eukaryotic or viral origin and their subsequent characterization by several approaches such as dynamic light scattering, light interferometry and microcalorimetry. The applications concern genes that are difficult to express and which require the definition of tailor-made production strategies to overcome systematic bottlenecks (viral, multi-centre redox, etc.). The platform’s ability to deliver particularly recalcitrant proteins on a turnkey basis has become its trademark. The platform offers its scientific and technological expertise in quality control of biomolecules (nanoparticles, liposomes, etc.). The platform has been labelled IBISA and is part of the Arbre Mobieu and P4EU network.
