October 14th – 11h30 – Salle de Conférence Jacques SENEZ, Campus Joseph Aiguier (Bât IM) & video conference

  • Eugénie Fournier – Development Scientist, Euroapi- Haverhille England United Kingdom

Eugénie will continue the seminar series by presenting you her parcours:

From fundamental research thesis to development scientist in a pharma world

Doing research work in an industrial site is something different from the one that you are used to do during your PhD. The priorities are not the same and the deadlines to deliver results are tight. We are working with project managers, safety engineers, quality officers, data scientists. I made this discovery after my PhD project in Marseille, where my main focus was to follow the dynamic of an enzyme. Let me talk you through my background and how I succeeded to reach my actual position, Development Scientist at Euroapi® in UK. This transition has been helped by obtaining a VIE contract (Volontariat International en Entreprise, International Corporate Volunteer program) a nice way to launch an international experience after a PhD.
